Alcohol and Substance Abuse Council of Jefferson County, NY: Drinking Driver Program

The New York State Drinking Driver Program consists of 16 hours classroom education over a seven-week period. Classes are held on Monday, Wednesday or Thursday evenings, beginning at 6:30 PM. Contact the Alcohol and Substance Abuse Council for the beginning date of the next class cycle. Class nights vary from 2 to 2 ½ hours in length. Class fee is $225.00, payable by class number six. Participants enroll through the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles. Out-of-state license holders seeking to enroll in the New York State program, should contact their state of issuance to ensure reciprocity.
